Role Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Occupational Therapy license for WV
- Previous experience in school-based OT, healthcare, home health or teletherapy settings is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Compassion and patience working with diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs or 504 plans
- Utilize a range of service models, including in-person interventions and collaboration with school staff
- Conduct evaluations, maintain documentation, and monitor progress toward therapeutic goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional input regarding student needs and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to enhance student access to curriculum and maximize independence
- Adapt interventions based on student needs, using evidence-based practices
