Qualifications & Credentials:
- Current North Carolina state Occupational Therapy (NC OT) license required
- Experience in school-based settings, home health, or pediatric healthcare strongly preferred
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with educators, parents, and support teams
- Demonstrated ability to tailor interventions to the unique needs of each child
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary-aged students
- Collaborate closely with special education personnel and teachers to support student learning and participation in school activities
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services in compliance with IEP goals
- Monitor and document student progress regularly, adapting interventions as necessary
- Engage with families to provide education and resources for at-home continuity of care
Position Details & Perks:
- Immediate start with a contract running through the end of the school year
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
