Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license
- Experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with PreK-age children (ages 3-5)
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff
- Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping abilities
- Compassion, patience, and creativity in clinical practice
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to PreK students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans for each child
- Incorporate play-based therapy activities tailored to developmental levels
- Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers and families to support each child’s learning and development
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input for student goals
