Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Maine (or eligibility)
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Commitment to creating inclusive and supportive environments for diverse learners
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs within the school environment
- Develop and implement individual therapy plans in alignment with students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to deliver integrated services
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports according to district and state policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered interventions
- Provide resources, strategies, and training to school staff to support classroom participation
