Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting
- Strong understanding of best practices for elementary-aged students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators and families
- Ability to adapt and use creative solutions to meet diverse student needs
- Commitment to maintaining compliance with IEPs, evaluations, and documentation requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and direct interventions to elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with school staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based student support planning
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
- Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Provide guidance and resources to school staff to promote student success in the classroom
