Occupational Therapist School Setting - Joliet, IL

A full-time contract opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist, working 37.5 hours per week across two supportive educational campuses near Joliet, IL. Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license required
- Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred
- Skilled in sensory integration and working with school-aged children, including using goal-setting and progress documentation
- Adept at collaborating with teachers, staff, and families for comprehensive student support
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students with varied needs across elementary and middle-grade levels
- Support general education, resource, and select self-contained classrooms in alignment with individualized student plans
- Assess, develop, and implement therapy objectives; monitor and document student progress
- Consult and collaborate with educators and families to ensure cohesive service delivery
- Work onsite at one campus per day, eliminating travel between schools during the work day
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide timely updates on student progress
This position operates on a traditional school schedule, with immediate start available and interviews conducted virtually for your convenience.
