Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative Occupational Therapy services to K-12 and transition program students (ages 18-21)
- Conduct assessments for annual reviews and three-year re-evaluations
- Collaborate closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team
- Facilitate service delivery aligned with IEP goals in both one-on-one and group settings
- Document progress and contribute to IEP meetings with detailed insights
- Foster positive, inclusive environments to enhance student participation and independence
Requirements:
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license (OT)
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads, including students with behavioral and transitional support needs
What to Expect:
- Contract role for the 2026-2027 academic year, approximately 32.5 hours/week
- Onsite schedule: select from 7:45am–2:45pm or 8:45am–2:45pm for work-life balance
- Deliver services across both a behavioral academy (K-12) and transition center (18-21) within the same facility
