Occupational Therapist School Setting in Kennesaw, GA

This full-time, contract role will support young learners across two elementary schools, giving you the chance to apply your expertise in a collaborative and caring educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Georgia required
- Demonstrated experience providing OT services to elementary-aged children
- Previous experience working within school settings strongly preferred
- Expertise in assessing student needs, developing individualized plans, and implementing therapeutic strategies
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group Occupational Therapy to students, focusing on improving participation and performance in school-related tasks
- Conduct assessments to identify sensory, motor, or adaptive skill needs
- Develop, document, and track progress on student therapy plans in collaboration with teachers and other support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and accommodations
- Travel between assigned elementary schools as scheduled
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal educational guidelines
