Key qualifications:
- Current and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Previous experience as an OT supporting elementary-aged students, ideally within a school district setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families
- Adaptability to work with varying caseloads and multitask across multiple locations
Core responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary school students, supporting their developmental, academic, and life skills according to their individualized needs
- Collaborate with special education and general education teachers to integrate appropriate interventions into students’ daily routines
- Assess, document, and monitor student progress; adjust therapy plans as needed to maximize student potential
- Provide insightful input for IEP meetings and student evaluations, ensuring compliance with district and state requirements
- Travel between assigned elementary school locations as needed to serve students in both settings
The position runs from approximately November 9th, 2026 through February 1st, 2027, offering you a meaningful experience within a dedicated school community and a supportive professional environment.
