Occupational Therapist School Setting - Kennesaw, GA

Seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide services for elementary school students in a supportive educational setting. This contract opportunity offers a rewarding chance to contribute to the growth and development of young learners while working in a collaborative school team. The assignment will take place from early November 2026 through early February 2027, with placements at two elementary schools near Kennesaw, GA.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Current and active Occupational Therapy license in Georgia
- Demonstrated experience working as an OT with elementary-aged students, ideally in school settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering student independence and improving fine motor, sensory processing, and functional academic skills
- Ability to adapt therapy plans based on changing caseload demands and student needs
- High level of professionalism, organization, and reliability
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate student needs within the school environment
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored for elementary students
- Provide direct therapy services during school hours, adhering to designated schedules
- Maintain thorough documentation to support student progress and compliance
- Consult regularly with teaching teams, administration, and parents to support educational outcomes
- Travel between Pine Log Elementary and Cloverleaf Elementary as needed
