Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Active Wisconsin Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain by the start date)
- Previous experience working as an OT in educational or pediatric settings, especially with elementary-age students
- Strong evaluation, documentation, and IEP development skills
- Ability to travel between two nearby school locations as needed
- Effective communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Collaborative spirit and flexibility
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services in classroom and small group settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Complete thorough documentation in compliance with school and district policies
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences
