An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist seeking to make an immediate impact in the school setting near New Berlin, WI. This full-time assignment will run through November 18th, covering a leave and providing direct services to students across three different campuses. You’ll work with a diverse caseload of up to 35 elementary and intermediate-age students, helping them thrive academically and functionally.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid OT licensure in Wisconsin
- Previous experience delivering occupational therapy in schools or pediatric settings
- Familiarity with developing and documenting IEP goals and participation in IEP meetings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage a varied and dynamic caseload across multiple sites
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students ages 5-13, ensuring their progress toward educational and developmental goals
- Travel between three school locations as needed
- Complete evaluations, develop measurable goals, and update progress for each student
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and required paperwork per state and district guidelines
