Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in schools is required
- CSA on file prior to onboarding
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to design and implement effective intervention plans
- Passion for empowering children facing diverse challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students to determine therapy needs within the educational environment
- Develop and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions in alignment with students’ IEPs
- Participate in IEP meetings, working collaboratively with families and school staff
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress
- Consult with educators and provide strategies to facilitate inclusion and student participation
- Advocate for students’ needs and adapt environments for optimal involvement
