Your expertise will be valuable across varied school-based environments, employing your skills in direct therapy, home health, teletherapy, and healthcare collaboration. You’ll be involved with developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs (Individualized Education Programs), collaborating closely with educational teams, and providing vital documentation related to student progress. Indirect hours and attendance at team meetings are part of the paid work structure, with administrative time provided. Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in Virginia
- Experience providing OT services within school, home health, or teletherapy settings
- Strong documentation, communication, and case management skills
- Familiarity with IEP procedures and related special education mandates
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality OT services to assigned students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings
