Occupational Therapist School Setting - Lansdale, PA
Make a real impact supporting preschoolers and young learners as a licensed Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services. This contract opportunity involves delivering extended school year (ESY) services as well as ongoing support through the 2026-2027 academic year. This dynamic position is based in the vibrant Lower Bucks County region, with work primarily in the Morrisville, Yardley, and Newtown areas.
As part of a collaborative educational team, you’ll work directly with preschool-aged children, providing early intervention Occupational Therapy within a supportive school framework. The role begins with part-time hours during the summer (approximately 15 hours per week) and offers the potential for increased hours as the school year progresses and new referrals arise.
Ideal candidates thrive in a school environment, are experienced with early childhood caseloads, and are passionate about fostering independence and skill development in young students.
Qualifications:
- Active state licensure in Occupational Therapy (proof required)
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in a school setting (not open to new graduates)
- Familiarity with early intervention and ESY services for preschool populations
- Commitment to follow the school calendar and ability to adjust hours as caseloads change
- Reliable transportation to commute within the Lower Bucks County region
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group OT interventions for preschoolers during ESY and the school year
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting in accordance with school and state regulations
- Adapt therapy approaches based on student needs and evolving caseload
