This upcoming school year role runs from August 6, 2026 through May 26, 2027, offering 35-40 hours per week. The caseload varies and includes elementary and/or middle school students across multiple campuses. You’ll be a vital resource in evaluating student needs and helping them thrive, both functionally and academically.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state.
- CPR certification required.
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort balancing in-person duties with virtual service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services directly to students, assessing and addressing their functional and educational needs.
- Collaborate with teaching and support staff, as well as families, to develop and implement effective therapy interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including Medicaid billing as required.
- Travel between campuses as needed for comprehensive outreach and support.
- Adapt intervention strategies to both onsite and remote formats (3 days in person, 2 days virtual).
