School Occupational Therapist - Levittown, Pennsylvania

This role specializes in Early Intervention Occupational Therapy during the Extended School Year, continuing into the 2026-2027 school year in supportive educational environments. With part-time hours in the summer that expand during the academic year as referrals increase, this position offers the chance to make a real difference for young learners.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a practicing Occupational Therapist
- At least one year of OT experience within a school setting (early childhood or preschool preferred)
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and sensory integration strategies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Commitment to evidence-based, child-centered interventions
- Reliable transportation to various sites within Morrisville, Yardley, and Newtown areas
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive OT assessment, planning, and direct therapy services for preschool caseload
- Develop individualized treatment plans that support each child's ability to participate in educational activities
- Consult with teachers, caregivers, and other school staff to support students' functional needs
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Adapt interventions based on student progress and referral requirements throughout the school year
- Participate in team meetings, IEP processes, and ongoing professional development
You’ll have the flexibility of part-time hours during the summer (approximately 15 hours per week), with opportunities for increased hours as the school year progresses in line with the needs of referred students.
