Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working with preschool students as an Occupational Therapist in the Lower Bucks County region. You’ll play a vital role providing Early Intervention (EI) and Extended School Year (ESY) services throughout the 2026-2027 school year, with part-time summer hours and increased hours as referrals arise during the regular academic year. This assignment offers a diverse caseload and the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners in the Morrisville, Yardley, and Newtown areas.
Skills & Experience Sought:
- Valid and active OT licensure meeting all Pennsylvania state requirements
- Minimum of one year of Occupational Therapy experience in a school setting (required)
- Experience supporting developmental and functional needs of preschool-aged students
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions based on IEP goals and student progress
- Collaborative mindset for teaming with educators and families
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct OT services to preschool students based on IEPs and referrals
- Conduct assessments to identify motor, sensory, and self-help needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Document progress and participate in team meetings
- Communicate with families, teachers, and school staff to support student success
- Adjust schedules and caseloads as referral volume shifts throughout the year
