Put your expertise to work supporting preschool students as a contract Occupational Therapist for the upcoming Extended School Year and 2026-2027 school year. Serve the Lower Bucks County region, focusing on the Morrisville, Yardley, and Newtown areas. This position starts with part-time hours over the summer and expands as referrals are received during the academic year. Dates follow the local school calendar.
What we’re looking for:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in good standing with the state
- A minimum of 1 year of experience providing OT services in a school-based setting (required; not open to new graduates)
- Strong understanding of early intervention and childhood development
- Ability to adapt interventions for young learners and support diverse preschool caseloads
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams
Your role will include:
- Delivering high-quality OT services to preschool-aged students in line with IEP/IFSP goals
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized intervention plans
- Collaborating closely with educators, families, and related service providers
- Providing consultative support and adapting materials for classroom integration
- Monitoring progress, maintaining accurate records, and preparing required documentation
- Flexing your schedule as referrals and caseload evolve throughout the academic year
