Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Texas
- Experience or interest in working with K-12 students
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting young learners of all abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and needs within the school setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote student success
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to IEP meetings and progress reports
- Deliver therapy and interventions to improve students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills
