This contract opportunity offers a 37.5-hour work week beginning in November 2026 and continuing through May 2027. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active North Carolina Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program (OTR)
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple school sites
- Adaptability and teamwork mindset
- Dedication to inclusive, student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for students ages K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other special education staff
- Document therapy services, progress, and updates in accordance with district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning
- Offer training and support to school staff as needed
- Travel to multiple schools within the district as part of caseload
