Key Qualifications:
- Valid, active North Carolina Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Strongly prefer candidates with previous experience in school-based OT settings
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Familiarity with current OT best practices for children and adolescents
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapeutic interventions onsite to students to support their educational needs
- Collaborate with special education teams to develop customized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Evaluate student needs and document progress according to school guidelines
- Provide guidance and training for teachers and support staff as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and progress reviews
