School Occupational Therapist - Limon, Colorado

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license and Colorado state credentials
- Experience in a school setting, especially with elementary-aged students
- Understanding of IEPs and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable working with a varied caseload, including students with severe developmental needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering comprehensive OT services to elementary students, with occasional support for those with significant developmental challenges
- Covering four days within the district and one day outside, ensuring continuity of care across locations
- Assessing student needs, developing intervention plans, and tracking progress collaboratively with teachers, families, and staff
- Documenting all services in accordance with district standards and special education regulations
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to strategies that promote student development and participation in classroom activities
