Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist license (NC or eligibility for reciprocity)
- Previous experience in a school setting, with PK-12 students preferred
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid billing procedures
- Proficient in electronic documentation, specifically with ECATS or similar platforms
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to students of varied ages and needs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for a caseload of approximately 25 students
- Deliver occupational therapy services that target student goals for academic and functional success
- Document and maintain thorough records in ECATS for compliance and Medicaid filing
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure holistic student support
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed to maximize outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and needs
