Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver both direct and consultative occupational therapy services aligned with individual IEPs.
- Complete thorough evaluations and assessments to identify specific student needs and strengths.
- Design and track individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s goals and challenges.
- Work closely with teachers, special education professionals, and families to maximize student outcomes.
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with state and district standards.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to goal-setting and student progress discussions.
- Facilitate the development of fine motor skills, sensory processing abilities, and increased functional independence.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current Virginia OT license or ability to obtain before start date.
- NBCOT certification.
- School-based experience welcomes your application, but is not mandatory.
- Exceptional communication skills and teamwork mindset.
Schedule:
- Full-time position (approximately 37.5 hours per week).
