Qualifications & Background:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Colorado.
- Prior experience with pediatric or school-based OT strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEP goals.
- Solid communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families.
- Ability to manage and organize services across multiple campuses.
- Comfortable working full time; four-day workweek option may be available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Deliver direct OT services to approximately 45 elementary-aged students.
- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines.
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, progress, and outcomes.
- Attend IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
- Travel between two designated school sites to facilitate services.
In this role, you will make a meaningful impact by promoting students’ independence and participation in school activities. The flexible work schedule (full time, with a possible four-day week) offers balance throughout the assignment.
