What you'll bring:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Ohio
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt interventions to individual student needs
- Proficiency in implementing IEPs and documenting progress
- Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment for educational environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for improvement
- Develop and facilitate tailored intervention plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Work closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success and participation in classroom activities
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress toward goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on occupational therapy strategies
- Contribute to ongoing professional development and the positive climate of the school community
