An exciting opportunity awaits for a licensed Occupational Therapist seeking a contract position in a vibrant educational setting near Loves Park, IL. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) covers two sites, with a consistent assignment at one campus each day—meaning no travel required during the school day. You’ll support students of various age groups, with specific caseloads assigned according to your preference ranging from early childhood to high school. Enjoy making an impact with students in both general and special education environments for the upcoming school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license from the state of Illinois
- Prior experience in pediatric settings or school-based therapy strongly preferred
- Familiarity with sensory integration and delivering therapy to school-aged children
- Comfort setting progress goals and documenting student growth
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across assigned age groups
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support general and resource education needs
- Maintain thorough progress reports and documentation in line with district policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP discussions
- Work on-site at two locations, rotating daily (one site per day)
- Adapt interventions based on each child’s unique needs and group settings
