Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Experience working with K-8 students is preferred
- Ability to conduct assessments, provide direct therapy, and perform evaluations for school-aged children
- Must fulfill all Massachusetts and district requirements for school-based OT services
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to students across K-8 grades according to IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team
