Occupational Therapist School Setting - Lowell, MA

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Massachusetts
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with middle and high school students
- Ability to deliver both individual and small-group sessions effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to supporting students’ progress in academic and social contexts
- Adaptability as caseload needs and schedules may shift throughout the school year
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 8 students
- Create and implement targeted intervention plans that address students’ unique needs
- Participate in student assessments, including occasional reevaluations
- Document student progress and update goals as needed in collaboration with the school team
- Collaborate with educators, other therapists, and support staff to enhance students’ learning experience
- Work proactively with the school to adjust service frequency or scheduling as caseloads change
