Occupational Therapist School Setting in Magalia, CA
Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist! We’re seeking two dedicated professionals to provide services throughout the Oroville area and possibly Paradise, working with a range of students for the full school year. This contract opportunity, running from August 10 to May 28, 2027, is perfect for travel candidates who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about fostering student growth.
What you’ll bring:
- Current California Occupational Therapy licensure and registration
- Recent experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based OT
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt OT interventions to a diverse K-12 student population
- Comfort with traveling between multiple school sites (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Commitment to in-person service delivery for consistent student support
Your role will include:
- Providing direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Developing individualized treatment plans and implementing interventions
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize each student’s potential
- Performing evaluations, progress monitoring, and timely documentation
- Traveling across school sites in Oroville and, as needed, to Paradise (all work-related mileage fully reimbursed)
- Attending relevant meetings, professional development, and supporting school initiatives
