Your experience will be valued as you adapt to different environments, flexibly traveling between schools. Previous school-based OT work is preferred, and experience (or interest) in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices will help you thrive.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure and credentials
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Comfortable managing a K-12 caseload and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to work across multiple school locations within the district
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and implement AAC supports as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists
- Provide targeted therapy to help students access their curriculum and participate fully in school life
- Accurately document progress and adapt interventions as needed
- Travel between sites to support assigned caseload throughout the week
