Working in multiple school settings (likely one middle and one elementary), you’ll directly support a manageable caseload of 16 students, ages 6-14. You’ll gain valuable insights from local leadership and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, adding new tools and strategies to your professional toolkit while enjoying the adventure that travel roles bring.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with eligibility to practice in Washington
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
- Ability to work collaboratively within an educational team
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and develop treatment plans for students with diverse abilities
- Provide direct and consultative Occupational Therapy services (ages 6-14)
- Support implementation of IEPs and document student progress
- Interact with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student success
- Adapt interventions to meet each student’s unique needs and school environment
- Serve both a middle and elementary school, promoting continuity of care
