Occupational Therapist School Setting in Mountainair, NM

Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy (OT) license in New Mexico
- Educator Certification required
- Prior experience in school-based, healthcare, or home health OT settings is advantageous
- Adaptable and comfortable working collaboratively with educators, families, and students
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to fostering student growth and independence through individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect OT services in accordance with student IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to encourage participation in daily school and home activities
- Develop treatment plans and document progress and outcomes
- Contribute to evaluation and IEP meetings, providing expertise in goal planning
- Adapt therapy activities and materials to meet diverse student needs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation
