Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active and valid Virginia OT license required
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare OT settings is highly preferred
- Familiarity with K–12 student populations and IEP documentation
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites as needed
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services for a diverse caseload of students across identified grade levels
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support inclusive learning environments
- Facilitate and attend IEP meetings as requested, providing clinical input and progress updates
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to district and state standards
- Employ evidence-based practices and adapt interventions to foster student development, participation, and independence
