Desired Experience & Skills:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with eligibility to practice in Virginia
- Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings
- Strong organizational abilities for managing caseloads and documentation
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teams, families, and students
- Experience supervising therapy assistants (COTAs) preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to K-12 students, tailoring interventions to individual needs
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments and generate detailed reports
- Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans and goals
- Lead and mentor two COTAs, overseeing quality and consistency in service delivery
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure holistic student care
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with district and regulatory requirements
