Occupational Therapist (Full time)

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time contract position for the 2026–2027 school year. In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement specialized therapy programs to help students overcome barriers and succeed academically, socially, and physically.
Position Details
- Status: Full-Time only
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Daily Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:40 PM
- Contract Dates: August 18, 2026 – June 4, 2027
- Location: IL (Currently reviewing regional school placements)
- Caseload: To Be Determined (Currently matching student needs and age groups)
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate student fine motor, sensory-motor, visual-perceptual, and self-care skills.
- Develop and execute individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
- Provide direct therapy sessions to students individually or in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and IEP teams to support student accommodations.
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation on student progress and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to varying school environments.
Pay: $50-$60 (depends on years of experience)
