Key Qualifications:
- Current and active NM OT licensure (NMRLD) and NMPED certification required by your start date (the NMPED credential is a straightforward process if started promptly)
- Flexible and able to travel between multiple school campuses
- Willing to supervise and support COTAs
- Experience with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Open to candidates based in southern New Mexico or the El Paso, TX area
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver OT services to students across a variety of age groups and campuses
- Conduct evaluations, treatments, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Mentor and supervise COTAs per state guidelines and district requirements
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
