School Occupational Therapist - Middle River, Maryland

Help students reach their full potential through dedicated occupational therapy services in a dynamic school-based contract opportunity. This role serves elementary and select secondary students, providing vital support close to the Baltimore County line in a collaborative and resource-rich environment. You’ll work alongside educators and other therapeutic professionals to facilitate student success through innovative intervention and compassionate care.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Maryland (MD OT License required)
- Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with school protocols, documentation, and IEP facilitation is a plus
- Willingness to work with a diverse student population, primarily elementary age
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to a varied caseload, focusing on elementary and select secondary students
- Assess and evaluate student needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student participation and progress in the classroom
- Document services and progress in accordance with school standards and policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing program development
This contract position starts on August 24, 2026. Work up to 40 hours per week across 5 days, ensuring work-life balance as you make a difference in students’ lives.
