- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in Virginia (OT in VA)
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
- Knowledge of school-based OT practices and relevant IEP procedures
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary school teams
- Commitment to promoting inclusive and supportive learning settings
Core responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and services to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
- Promote skill-building and independence through creative, student-centered activities
- Work a consistent schedule—37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
