Job Overview
Robbinsdale Area Schools is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based position in New Hope, MN for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for an OT who is passionate about working with elementary-aged students in a collaborative educational environment.
The selected Occupational Therapist will work alongside a team of therapists to divide caseloads and assign school locations prior to the start of the school year. The majority of service needs are within elementary schools.
Key Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services in a school-based setting
Conduct evaluations and assessments related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional performance
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
Participate in team meetings and support a collaborative therapy approach
Requirements
Active Minnesota Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
Experience in school-based occupational therapy or pediatrics preferred
Knowledge of IEP development and school-based therapy services
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work fully on-site in New Hope, MN (no remote or teletherapy options available)
