Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure for school-based practice
- Experience providing OT services in educational settings
- Strong assessment, documentation, and intervention planning skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule across sites
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between school locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students, including evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct interventions
- Support adaptive strategies to enhance participation in academic and daily activities
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to address each student's unique needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and help facilitate student transitions and access to appropriate resources
- Travel as needed between assigned school locations to ensure consistent service delivery
