School Occupational Therapist - Molina, Colorado

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students access their education, develop vital life skills, and thrive within the school environment. Your days will be filled with meaningful interactions and hands-on therapy, allowing you to blend clinical skill with creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for students with a diverse range of needs.
- Develop and implement effective, individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams and families.
- Provide both direct and indirect therapeutic services, adapting activities as necessary to fit each student’s unique goals.
- Document student progress, maintain thorough records, and communicate findings effectively to teams and families.
- Consult with classroom staff on strategies, environmental modifications, and assistive technology to support student engagement.
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise in goal-setting, accommodations, and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current, valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in a school setting is strongly preferred.
- Excellent teamwork, organizational, and communication skills.
