An exciting opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist interested in making a positive impact on students aged 2–15, primarily within elementary school settings. This contract role offers the chance to work throughout the 2026–2027 academic year, providing essential services and support to help students achieve their potential.
Beginning August 3, 2026 and continuing through May 28, 2027, you’ll be welcomed into a collaborative educational environment focused on student growth and well-being. The position offers up to 37 hours per week for full-time contractors, ensuring a balanced schedule and opportunity for consistent engagement with a diverse caseload.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license required
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children, especially in Pre-K through middle school
- Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions to meet a variety of student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within educational settings
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, focusing on individual goals
- Participate in assessment, planning, and documentation as part of each student’s educational program
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student growth
- Monitor progress and adapt treatment strategies as needed
- Maintain records in accordance with school and state guidelines
