Desired Skills & Experience:
- Hold a valid Occupational Therapy license
- Previous experience working in a school-based OT setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to assess and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Experience with a variety of ages and ability levels
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to serving a large and dynamic student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students throughout the district
- Conduct assessments and write comprehensive reports in alignment with educational plans
- Provide both individual and group interventions to support student learning and participation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize students' access to curriculum and activities
- Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide guidance to staff and families regarding student needs
