Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Occupational Therapist license for the state of Florida
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Adaptable and ready to work with students in kindergarten through 12th grade
- Willing and able to travel to different sites throughout Hendry County, as assigned each summer
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with educators, administrators, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services to K–12 students as part of the educational team, supporting academic and functional success
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to inform individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Develop and implement intervention and therapy strategies tailored to each student's unique needs
- Consult with school staff and parents/guardians, offering training and support for recommended interventions
- Document progress and maintain thorough, timely records in accordance with district guidelines
