Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Active and valid Florida Occupational Therapy License
- Solid background in pediatric and school-based settings
- Experience in home health or healthcare OT environments beneficial
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse elementary and middle school students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to K-8 students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess and document student abilities, progress, and therapeutic needs
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to develop strategies for student success
- Facilitate interventions that enhance fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills essential for classroom participation
- Maintain timely and accurate records while ensuring compliance with state and district regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise as an essential member of the school community
