Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Texas COTA license required
- Previous experience working with children or in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt interventions based on individualized student needs
- Commitment to fostering independence and participation in academic routines
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, supporting students across the district
- Implement individualized treatment plans addressing fine motor, sensory, and self-help skills
- Track student progress and document interventions in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and related service staff
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, encouraging student growth and engagement
