Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility) in Washington State
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and goal-driven interventions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Adaptability and compassion when working with diverse student populations
- Commitment to professional growth and evidence-based practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students' functional abilities, needs, and areas for growth within the school environment
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions to promote students’ participation in educational activities
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and advocate for accommodations as needed
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation per school and compliance standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and staff training sessions as required
- Provide consultative support and training to educators and staff
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
