Taking a position in a therapeutic day school serving early childhood through 5th grade, you’ll grow as a clinician by working with a small, focused caseload (around 15 students). Requirements:
- Illinois-licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Knowledge of therapeutic interventions for early childhood through elementary students
- Ability to engage, assess, and plan individualized treatments for diverse learners
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in a therapeutic day school setting
- Manage a caseload of approximately 15 students (ages early childhood to grade 5)
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with an interdisciplinary team
- Track and document student progress, making data-driven decisions for interventions
- Communicate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success
